Glazed key lime-nut cake

3 | cups | Sifted flour |
2 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
1 | each | 1 /2 teaspoons salt |
3½ | cup | Sugar |
1 | cup | Unsalted butter or margarine |
4 | eaches | Eggs (or 1 cup egg substitute) |
1 | cup | Milk |
8 | teaspoons | Grated lime rind |
2 | cups | Chopped pecans |
6 | tablespoons | Lime juice |

Method: Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream 2 cups sugar with butter; beat in eggs. Add flour mixture and milk alternately, beating after each addition. Stir in rind and nuts. Turn into greased tube pan. Bake at 350' till done, about 1 hour. Remove cake from pan as soon as baked. In small pan, stir and cook remaining 1½ cups sugar and juice till sugar is dissolved. A little at a time, pour over cake till all glaze is absorbed. Cool and slice.
