Grilled bread and cherry tomato salad

6 | slices | French or Italian bread; about 3/4 inch/4 cm |

4 | cups | Cherry tomatoes; halved 1 L |
Directions
In small bowl, whisk together garlic, vinegar, oil, pepper and salt. Stir in chives and basil. Reserve.
Barbecue or toast bread. Cut each slice into 1½ inch/4 cm pieces.
Toss bread with cherry tomatoes and dressing. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
