Grilled greens & red onion salad w/ goat cheese - bon app

Ingredients

1 large Red onion
1 Head radicchio, quartered through base
1 Head frisee lettuce or curly endive, quartered through base
1 large Head Belgian endive, quartered through base
½ Lemon
6 tablespoons Olive oil
cup Balsamic vinegar
¼ cup Chopped fresh basil
4 ounces Soft fresh goat cheese (such as Montrachet), crumbled

Directions

Preheat oven to 400'F. Wrap onion in foil. Roast until soft, about 40 minutes. Cool. Peel onion; cut into quarters through stem end. Place onion, radicchio, frisee and endive on baking sheet. Squeeze lemon over. Let stand 30 minutes.

Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat) or preheat broiler. Whisk oil, vine- gar and basil in bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Grill greens and onion until slightly charred, turning often, about 4 minutes. Place on platter. Drizzle dressing over. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
