Grilled poundcake with warm strawberries

Ingredients

1 | pounds | Cake; 4 pieces, 2\" thick |
2 | pints | Fresh strawberries; cut in halves |
⅛ | cup | Grand Marnier |
8 | ounces | Unsalted butter |
Directions
Brush melted butter onto both sides of poundcake pieces and allow to soak in. Place strawberries on hot greased grid and cook until tender and warm, 3-5 minutes total. Place poundcake pieces on grid and cook until golden brown, 2-3 minutes per side. Place strawberries in a medium size bowl and top with Grand Marnier. Toss until blended. Remove poundcake and place 1 piece onto a plate, top with strawberry mixture. Just in case, you might want to double up on this recipe for seconds.
