Hawaiian fruit ring

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Diced oranges (about 3)
½ cup Sugar
1 cup Orange juice and water
1 pack (3-oz) orange gelatin
1 cup Hot water
1 tablespoon Grated orange rind
3 tablespoons Chopped maraschino cherries
1 cup Pineapple tidbits; drained, cut in half

Directions

Comi=bine orange and sugar. Let stand 10 minutes. Drain and add water to make 1 cup. Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Add orange juice, water and orange rind. Chill until slightly thickened and fold in fruits. Pour into 1-½ quart mold or individual molds. Garnish with sweetened whippen cream, coconut, cut cherries and mint leaves, if desired.
