Home-made almond paste

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup Almonds-whole -- blanched
1 teaspoon Almond Extract
cup Powdered sugar -- sifted
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 Egg white

Directions

Grind almonds, a portion at a time, in electric blender or food chopper using fine blade. Combine with remaining ingredients and work to a stiff paste. Store in airtight container of disposable plastic bag. This makes 13 ounces.
