¼ | cup | Honey 50 mL |
¼ | cup | Soy sauce 50 mL |
1 | teaspoon | Hot chili paste 5 mL |
1 | teaspoon | 5 spice powder 5 mL |
1 | bunch | Fresh Italian parsley 1 |
Directions
MARINADE
Pat quail dry and place in a shallow baking dish.
Combine honey with soy sauce, hot chili paste, 5 spice powder and cilantro in a small bowl. Pour over quails and rub in well. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator a few hours.
Cook on the barbecue, in a grill pan or under the broiler for about 5 minutes per side or until just cooked through.
Arrange parsley on serving platter and place quail on top.
