2 servings
Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
¾ | pounds | Sirloin steak; fat trimmed |
2 | tablespoons | Soy sauce |
1 | Clove garlic; finely chopped | |
½ | teaspoon | Finely chopped fresh ginger |
½ | Packet artificial sweetener |
Directions
1. Slice the steak into strips and then into pieces 1½ to 2 inches long. Place the meat in a bowl.
2. Combine the remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour the mixture over the meat and cover. Marinate the meat for about an hour, turning several times to coat the meat with sauce.
3. Preheat the broiler.
4. Place the meat in a single layer on a rack in a broiling pan.
Broil the meat about 3 inches from the heat for about 5 minutes.
Brush with marinade, turn, brush with sauce again, and cook for an additional 3 to 5 mintues, until the meat is cooked to your liking.
