Jill's stilton walnut and celery pate

Ingredients

7 ounces Cream cheese
6 ounces Stilton cheese
1 ounce Celery; cut into small dice
2 ounces Walnuts; chopped
1 fluid ounce Pouring cream
1 Dsp port
1 ounce Pear cut into small dice; optional
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Combine the cream cheese, stilton and cream then mix in a bowl until smooth. Add the port, mix in gently, then add the celery, nuts and pear and mix well, taking care not to over mix and damage the fruit and nuts.

Place the pate into a small dish, smooth the surface using the back of metal spoon and place in the refrigerator and chill for 1 hour. Garnish with walnuts and slice. Serve with crusty bread salad.
