Kaffeekuchen( brown sugar coffeecake)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Brown sugar
2 tablespoons Butter
4 cups Flour
4 teaspoons Baking powder
2 Eggs
2 cups Milk
½ teaspoon Salt
Topping:
4 tablespoons Butter
4 tablespoons Sugar
8 tablespoons Flour
2 teaspoons Cinnamon

Directions

Mix together all the cake ingredients ( the first 7 ingredients ). and place

in a greased long oblong pan or two smaller ones.Brush with either melted butter or milk before addingthe crumb topping. For topping mix all ingredients until crumblike and sprinkle over batter. Bake in a 350 oven about 30 minutes or tested done. A very old German family recipe.
