Kate's butterscotch caramels

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Corn syrup
½ Stick butter
1 tablespoon Vinegar
teaspoon Soda
Chopped nuts

Directions

Boil to hard-ball stage all ingredients except nuts. Stir to keep from burning. Cool. Add nuts and pour onto greased platter. Cut into squares.
