Kentucky jack - sl 10/86

Ingredients

2 | eaches | (1/4-inch thick) slices uncooked country ham |
2 | tablespoons | ;water |
4 | slices | Tomato |
2 | eaches | English muffins; halved and toasted |
4 | slices | (1-ounce) Cheddar cheese |
4 | slices | (1-ounce) Swiss cheese |
Directions
Place ham in a large skillet over medium heat. Add water, and fry 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Remove ham slices from skillet; add tomatoes to skillet, and grill lightly.
Place equal amounts of ham over each muffin half. Top each with a slice of tomato, Cheddar cheese, and Swiss cheese. Place on a baking sheet, and broil 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese melts. Yield: 4 servings.
