1 | tablespoon | Fat or crisco |
Directions
DOUGH
FILLING
Fry onions in fat, grind meat, beat in egg and seasoning. Beat egg, salt and add flour. Knead dough to a smooth ball. Roll out on board to 1/8th inch thickness and cut into 2" squares. Put a small ball of filling into center of each square, fold one corner over diagonally to form a triangle and press edges firmly together. Let stand for 10 min. and then cook in boiling salted water for 30 min.
Drain and serve either in chicken soup or browned in the oven with fat as a side dish.
