Kristine's famous pesto and cheese french bread - bon app

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Mayonnaise
½ cup Freshly grated Romano or Parmesan choose (about 2 oz)
2 tablespoons Prepared pesto sauce
½ 1-lb French bread loaf

Directions

Combine first 3 ingredients in small bowl. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover tightly and refrigerate.) Preheat broiler. Halve bread lengthwise. Broil cut side up until beginning to brown. Spread each half generously with mayonnaise mixture. Broil until bubbling and beginning to brown, watching carefully. Cut crosswise into 1½-inch pieces and serve.
