Leeks cooked in spiced wine

1 | teaspoon | Whole coriander seed |

5 | fluid ounce | White or red wine |
Chopped parsley |
Directions
1. Clean and trim the leeks and cut them into 5cm / 2in lengths. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and add the leeks: stir-fry gently for about 5 minutes, then add the bay leaf and spices, a little salt and the wine.
2. Cover and let the leeks simmer gently for 15-20 minutes, until tender.
Check the seasoning and transfer to a serving dish, removing the bay leaf and whole spices.
3.Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
