Lemon-lime angel food cake

Ingredients

1 cup Cake Flour
12 larges Egg Whites
½ teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Fresh Lime Juice
teaspoon Grated Lime Peel
1⅔ cup Superfine Sugar
1 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
2 teaspoons Fresh Lemon Juice
teaspoon Grated Lemon Peel

Directions

Position Rack in lowest third of oven at 350 degrees Sift flour with ⅓ cup sugar. Beat egg, lemon & lime juice. Gradually beat in remaining 1 cup sugar. Continue beating until stiff. Mix lemon and lime peel. Sift ¼ cup of flour into whites. Continue until flour is gone. Spoon into 10" tube pan. Bake for 42 minutes. Invert pan and place it on a bottle and allow to cool. Pour Lemon-Lime Glaze over Cake. (see related recipe).
