Make & hold mashed potatoes

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
5 pounds Potatoes (about 9 large)
8 ounces Cream cheese
1 cup Sour cream
2 teaspoons Onion salt
1 teaspoon Salt
1 dash Freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons Butter
Green onions, chopped
(optional)

Directions

Peel and cook potatoes until tender. Mash with remaining ingredients until smooth. Cool; cover and place in refrigerator. Use any time within 2 weeks.

When ready to use, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place potatoes in greased casserole; dot with butter and bake for about 30 minutes until heated through. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
