Mandarin almond cream sauce

¼ cup Sliced almonds (for
Garnish)
½ cup Melted butter
cup Liquid from oranges
½ cup Diced oranges
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
1 tablespoon Fresh orange juice
½ teaspoon Grated lemon rind
1 dash Salt
1 dash White pepper
¼ cup Dairy sour cream

Directions

Cook almonds in butter in skillet until golden brown; remove & set aside. Combine orange liquid ( adding water if necessary to make amount) & cornstarch; add to butter in skillet. Stir in oranges, fresh orange juice, lemon rind, salt & pepper; cook over low heat until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Remove from heat: cool slightly. Stir in sour cream; blend well. Spoon over fish; garnish with almonds.
