Mandarin orange cake (quick and easy)

Ingredients

1 | pack | Yellow cake mix |
½ | cup | Veg. oil |
4 | Eggs | |
1 | can | (11 oz) Mandarin oranges (do NOT drain) |
1 | Cool (9 oz) Whip (brand of whipped topping) | |
1 | can | (20 oz) crushed pineapple (do NOT drain) |
1 | Box (3-3/4 oz) INSTANT Vanilla pudding | |
1 | cup | Flaked coconut |
Directions
FROSTING
Mix ALL ingreds. together for 2 mins. on medium speed.
Pour into 3--9 inch round pans, that have been greased & lightly floured.
Bake at 325 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes. Remove to wire racks and COOL completely.
FROSTING: Blend pineapple, pudding & coconut. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread between layers & on top. Refrigerate. Garnish with extra oranges, coconut or pineapple pieces.
This is a Very Quick and Easy YUMMY TNT cake. It is guarenteed to make a hit, and everyone thinks it took a long time to make. I've also made this in a 9 X 13 pan and it was Great!! Posted to TNT - Prodigy's Recipe Exchange Newsletter by SXSP63B@... ( PAMELA J REILING) on Feb 26, 1997.
