Manhattan style clam chowder

2 | Carrots; thinly sliced | |
3 | Celery with leaves; thinly sliced | |
1 | tablespoon | Fresh parsley (or dried) |
1 | large | Can tomatoes, broken up; with juice |
1½ | teaspoon | Salt |
Black pepper | ||
1 | Leaf | |
1 | teaspoon | Thyme |
3 | Potatoes; diced | |
2 | Or 3 cans clams with juice |
Directions
Put all ingredients in crock pot. Stir to blend. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then on low for 8 hours. Serves 4.
