Maple walnut squares

Ingredients

1½ | cup | Flour |
¼ | cup | Brown sugar |
½ | cup | Butter |
1 | cup | Maple syrup |
⅓ | cup | Maple sugar |
⅓ | cup | Brown sugar |
2 | eaches | Eggs (beaten) |
2 | tablespoons | Flour |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Vanilla |
1 | cup | Walnuts (chopped) |
Directions
Combine flour, ¼ cup sugar and butter in bowl. With fork, mix until consistency of fine corn meal. Press mix into greased 9 x 13" pan.
Bake at 350ø for 15 minutes. Combine sugars and syrup in small saucepan. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over beaten eggs, stirring constantly. Stir in remaining ingredients, except nuts. Pour mix over baked crust. Sprinkle with nuts and bake at 350ø for 20 - 25 minutes.
