Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
1 | cup | Sugar |
1 | cup | One minute oats (not Old Fashioned ) |
4 | ounces | Butter - melted must use Real Butter! 1 stick |
2 | tablespoons | Flour |
½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
1 | large | Egg |
1 | pinch | Salt |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F. Combine all ingredients. Place aluminum foil on cookie sheets dull side up. Do not use heavy duty foil. Use a scant teaspoon of mixture per cookie. Place 2 in apart. They will spread thin.
Bake for 7 minutes. Allow to cool on foil then peel off. Crispy and yummy.
Can be dipped in chocolate if desired. Keep tightly covered or they will go soft. No, I don't know why you use the wrong side of the foil - my mom always made them this way. Posted to MasterCook Digest V1 #269 by Linda and Eran Carmon <carmonle@...> on Aug 09, 1997
