Ingredients

1 | pounds | Backfin crab meat |
½ | cup | Mayonnaise |
1 | tablespoon | Lemon juice |
1 | teaspoon | Minced onion, instant |
1½ | teaspoon | Worcestershire sauce |
1 | tablespoon | Margarine or butter |
1 | tablespoon | Flour |
½ | cup | Milk |
Few dashes pepper | ||
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
Paprika for sprinkling |
Directions
Remove shells from crabmeat. In medium pan, melt butter, mix in flour, stirring until smooth. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly, to keep mixture free of lumps. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Mix in Worcestershire sauce. Cool. Fade in lemon mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper. In another pan, heat butter until lightly browned. Add crabmeat and toss lightly. Combine with sauce mixture. Put mixture into individual shells, sprinkle with paprika and bake at 450 degrees 10 to 15 minutes.
