Mild jerked chicken

Serve this gentle version of the Jamaican national barbecue the way Blue
Jays Pitcher Mike Timlin and Wife Dawn do - with rice a zesty mixed
Green salad
¾ cup Teriyaki sauce
teaspoon Ground ginger
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
2 eaches Cloves garlic, minced
pounds Chicken parts

Directions

In large bowl, stir together teriyaki sauce, ginger, salt, cayenne pepper and garlic. Add chicken parts, turning to coat well. With tongs, transfer chickend to greased rimmed baking sheet, skin side down. Reserve sauce. Bake in 400F oven turnign once and basting often with xauce, for about 45 minutes or until browned and juice run clear when chicken is pierced. Makes 6 servings.
