Molly's lovin' breakfast casserole

6 | Eggs | |
2 | cups | Milk |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Dry mustard |
2 | slices | White bread; cubed |
1 | pounds | Sausage; browned *see note |
1 | cup | Cheddar cheese; shredded |
Directions
Beat eggs; add milk, salt and mustard. Mix well. Butter the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking dish. Place bread cubes on the bottom. Make a layer of sausage; next a layer of cheese. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 deg. for 45 minutes. Let stand about 5 minutes before cutting. NOTE We enjoy Portuguese sausage in this casserole.
