Mrs lawrence's yeast biscuits

Ingredients

1 | pack | Dry Yeast |
2 | cups | Warm Water |
4 | cups | Self-Rising Flour |
1 | Egg | |
¼ | cup | Sugar |
¾ | cup | Shortening |
Directions
Dissolve yeast in water. Stir in flour. Beat egg and sugar, add shortening; cream. Add creamed mixture to flour mixture. Don't knead, spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 400-degree oven.
Dough keeps one week.
