Ingredients

cup Applesauce; natural -- no
Sugar
1 Egg -- beat to blend
2 tablespoons Oil -- vegetable
¼ cup Honey
2 tablespoons Orange zest
1 cup Flour -- whole wheat
1 cup Flour -- all purpose
2 teaspoons Baking powder
1 teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Allspice
½ cup Raisins; soak in boil water
And drain
½ cup Walnuts -- chopped coarsley

Directions

Spray muffin tins with nonstick coating or use paper liners. Preheat oven to 375-degrees. Blend applesauce, egg, oil, honey, and orange zest and set aside. In another bowl, blend flours, baking powder, soda, and spices. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Mix to combine ingredients completely. Bake for 20 minutes. The calorie count per muffin is 165, and each has 4.5g fat. Without the walnut the calorie count is 148 per muffin, but the fat is only 1⅗ grams.
