Directions

Prepare Basic Holiday Cookie dough, with the following changes: Substitute ½ tsp. almond extract for vanilla; reduce flour to 1 cup; stir 1 cuip ground blanched almonds or pecans into dough. Wrap in plastic; refrigerate until chilled. For each cookie, roll rounded Tablespoon of dough into 3 inch-long rope. Shape into crescent. Place on baking sheet lightly coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake in 350 F. ovn for 10-12 minutes. While still warm, roll in granulated sugar. Cool on rack. Decorate with squggles of white and chocolate icing or melted chocolate. Let harden. Makes about 18 cookies. MC formatting by bobbi744@...
