Old fashioned figged duff

Ingredients

3 | cups | Bread crumbs |
¼ | cup | Melted butter |
1 | teaspoon | Ginger |
1 | teaspoon | Allspice |
1 | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
1 | tablespoon | Hot water |
1 | cup | Raisins |
3 | tablespoons | Molasses |
½ | cup | Brown sugar |
½ | cup | Flour |
1 | teaspoon | Soda |
Directions
Soak bread in water for a few minutes. Squeeze out water (measure without pressing down). Combine bread and raisins, sugar, salt, spices and mix with a fork. Add molasses, melted butter, and soda which has been dissolved in hot water. Add flour and mix well. Pour into dampened puedding bag. Cook with Jigg's dinner for one hour.
