Old-fashioned microwave chocolate pudding

Recipe by: 365 Great Chocolate Desserts - ISBN 0-06-016537-5 Preparation Time: 0:20 1. In a 2-qt glass bowl, mixtogether sugar, cornstarch, and salt until well blended. Gradually whisk in milk until cornstach is completely dissolved. Add chocolate.
2. Cook in microwave on High 7 to 9 mins, whisking every 2 mins, until mixture is cooked through, smooth, and thickened. Whisk in vanilla.
Pour into 4 individual serving dishes. Cover with plastic wrap to prevent skin from forming on top. Refrigerate until cold.
NOTES : Just like pudding from a mix without the long cook times, constant
stirring and scorched pans. Tested in 600-700 watt micro.
