Opal deneke's fig jam

Ingredients

6½ | pounds | Ripe figs (See note #1) |
1 | can | #2 1/2 crushed pineapple |
4½ | pounds | Sugar |
¼ | cup | Lemon juice |
1 | tablespoon | Cinnamon |
1 | tablespoon | Cloves |
1 | tablespoon | Allspice |
Directions
NOTE #1: Weigh figs after peeling, removing only the peeling that .
easily pulls off with the stem. Mash peeled figs to fine pulp, add other ingredients. Mix thoroughly and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Pour into hot sterile jars and seal.
