Panettone pizza with fried apples

Ingredients

3 Cox's apples; peeled
1 ounce Unsalted butter
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
2 ounces Soft brown sugar
1 Pinches ground cinnamon
1 Pinches powdered cloves
2 1 inch slice panettone; (Italian cake)
2 Floz clotted cream
Icing sugar

Directions

Core the apples and cut each into 6 wedges. Pan fry the apple in butter and lemon juice for 5 minutes. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon and cloves; continue to cook until the apple is soft and the sugar resembles toffee.

Meanwhile, toast each slice of panettone on both sides under the grill. Top with the apples, a dollop of clotted cream and dust with icing sugar.
