| 1 | cup | Sour cream -- 8 oz |
| 1 | pack | Cream cheese -- 8 oz |
| Softened | ||
| 1 | teaspoon | Dried chervil -- or 1 T. |
| Fresh chives | ||
| ¼ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
| ¼ | cup | Dry bread crumbs |
| 1 | tablespoon | Butter or margarine -- |
| Melted | ||
| ½ | cup | Shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions
In a large bowl, combine potatoes, sour cream, cream cheese, chives and garlic powder. Turn into a greased 2 qt. casserole. Combine bread crumbs with butter; sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 350 deg. for 50 to 60 min. Top with cheese and serve immediately. Dish can be assembled a day ahead and baked just before serving. Yield: 10 to 12 servings.
