Peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

½ cup Butter
2 tablespoons Butter
½ cup Peanut butter
2 tablespoons Peanut butter
¾ cup Firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup Granulated sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
cup All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt (opt)
3 cups Old-fashioned oats, uncooked
1 pack Semisweet chocolate chips (12 oz)

Directions

1. Heat oven to 375'F. Beat butters and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.

Stir in oats and chocolate chips.

2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-9 minutes for a chewy cookie, 10-11 minutes for a crisp cookie.

Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack, cool, store tightly covered.

Makes 4-½ dozen cookies.
