Peppered steak sandwiches

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 teaspoon Seasoned salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
½ teaspoon Ground red pepper (cayenne)
3 (1 lb) beef flank steaks
2 tablespoons Cracked black pepper
12 Kaiser rolls, split
½ cup Steak sauce
Lettuce leaves

Directions

Grill directions: Heat grill. In small bowl, combine seasoned salt, pepper and ground red pepper; mix well. Rub mixture over both sides of steaks. Press cracked pepper into steaks. Let stand at room temperature for 5 minutes.

When ready to grill, place steaks on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals; cover grill. Cook 15 6o 18 minutes or until steaks are of desired doneness, turning once.

Remove steaks from grill; place on cutting board. Let stand 10 minutes.

Slice steaks diagonally into very thin slices. Spread steak sauce on cut sides of rolls. Top bottom halves of rolls with lettuce, steak slices and top halves of rolls.
