Peppermint angel food cake

Ingredients

1 cup Unbleached flour
11 Peppermint candies --
Crushed
10 Egg whites -- whipped
teaspoon Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Granulated sugar
½ teaspoon Peppermint extract
½ teaspoon Vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven at 375. Unprepared 10" tube pan. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, candy, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In another mixing bowl, combine egg whites, peppermint extract, and vanilla.

Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients just until moistened. Pour mixture into unprepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes.
