Pepperoni hors d'oeuvres

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 larges Pepperoni, hot dogs, or polish
Sausage etc., halved crosswise
1 can Crescent refrigerator rolls
1 each Egg yolk, beaten

Directions

DIRECTIONS

Unfold biscuit dough. Seal up triangles to make 4 rectangles. Cut each in half to form 8 squares. Brush pepperoni (or whatever) well with the egg yolk. Roll up in dough and seal ends and edge. Place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 15 minutes or until browned. Remove from oven, slice crosswise into thin slices.

Serve when slightly cooled. Good with gourmet mustard. Try experimenting with different types of sausages or meats. You can even just use mini hot dogs or sausages (don't slice those). From: Debbie Carlson
