Directions
GREASE the tin. Set oven to 190o C or moderately hot. Mix together flour, baking powder and seasoning in a bowl. Rub in the margarine till the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Finely chop meat and stir into the dry ingredients. Also add parsley and half the grated cheese. Add the milk and eggs and stir with a fork to get a soft dough. Pat out the dough to fill the tin. Mark out 12 slices with the back of a knife. Sprinkle the reserved cheese over the top. Bake above the centre of the oven for 45 to 50 minutes, covering with foil if it browns too quickly. Turn out and cool on a wire rack. Cut into slices along the markings.
