Pizza sauce (mitch's)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
100 ounces Angela Mia crushed tomatoes; (Hunts)
3 tablespoons Olive oil
1 cup Good Red Wine
1 cup Water
6 dashes Tabasco
2 tablespoons Marjoram
tablespoon Oregano
tablespoon Fennel
tablespoon Basil
teaspoon Fresh ground black pepper
teaspoon Garlic powder
Salt to taste
6 pints Makes this many pints OR enough for
12 mediums Pizzas

Directions

AMOUNT

1. Combine all ingredients and slowly add to sauce while whisking.

2. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer over low heat for 1 to 3 hours, or until you like the taste.

3. Makes about 6 pints or enough for roughly 20 servings. Freezes well. The only way to buy Angela Mia tomatoes is Sam's or a warehouse outlet and it comes in 100 ounce cans.
