Ingredients

4 1 oz slices Italian bread
1 large Garlic clove, peel and split
¾ ounce Parmesan cheese, grated
cup Tomato juice
cup Beef broth
½ teaspoon Dried oregano
½ teaspoon Dried basil

Directions

To prepare cheese croutons, dry out the bread in a 300 oven for 15 minutes. Rub each slice with garlic, sprinkle evenly with the Parmesan, and run under the broiler to brown lightly. Keep warm. In a medium saucepan, combine the tomato juice, broth, oregano, and basil, heat to boiling.
