700 grams Strong plain bread flour; (1 1/2 lb)
teaspoon Easy blend dried yeast
1 Pinches salt
1 Pinches sugar
450 millilitres Water

Directions

Sift the flour into a large bowl. Add the salt and pinch of sugar. Make a well in the centre and add the dried yeast.

Now pour in the water and mix to a dough. Tip out onto a floured work surface and knead well for 10 minutes. Leave to rise for an hour.

Knock back and shape. Divided the dough into 3 and roll to a long sausage.

For a flavour change sprinkle over a selection of toppings, Cheddar cheese grated onto the bread sprinkled with sesame seeds.

Leave to rise again and then bake at 220øC/425øF/gas mark 7 for 20 minutes or until golden.

Cool on wire rack.
