Plum oatmeal

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 Fresh plums; pitted and chopped
¼ cup Raisins
2 cups Apple juice
1 cup (heaping) slow cooking oatmeal
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Dehydrated lemon peel

Directions

Combine apple juice, plums, raisins, and cinnamon in a small pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in oatmeal and simmer until the juice is absorbed. cover and let rest for 1 minute. Serves 2-4.

This is not real sweet so some of you may prefer to add some sugar or honey.
