Polynesian hamburgers

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Beef, ground
2 cups Breadcrumbs, soft
¼ cup Onion; chopped
½ cup Water; ice
1 teaspoon Salt, seasoned
2 mediums Onions; cut in thick slices
2 tablespoons Butter
¼ cup Sugar, brown; firmly packed
2 tablespoons Water
½ teaspoon Mustard, dry
¼ cup Vinegar

Directions

Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, water, and seasoned saut. Shape into 4 patties. Saute onion in butter; remove. Brown hamburgers. Return onion to skillet. Combine remaining ingredients; add to hamburgers. Cover; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 30 minutes.
