1 large Onion

Salt and pepper to taste
3 larges Eggs separated
¼ cup Grated gruyere cheese

Directions

peel and slice the potatoes, cook them until tender in boiling water drain and mash them well. Preheat the oven to 350. Saute the onions in the vegetable oil until golden. Add theonions and beaten egg yolks to the potatoes; mix well. Season with salt and Clean beaters and bet the egg whites until stiff, then fold them into the mixture.
