Prune and bitter chocolate tart

Ingredients

3½ | ounce | Good quality plain chocolate |

; sweet shortcrust | ||
; pastry case | ||
2 | Eggs | |
2 | ounces | Soft brown sugar |
2 | ounces | Butter; melted |
Grated zest and juice of 1 lemon |
Directions
Pre-heat the oven to 190C/375F/gas 5.
Chop the prunes and chocolate and place in the pastry case. Beat together the eggs, sugar, butter, lemon zest and juice, and pour the mixture into the pastry case. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 25 minutes or until the custard is just firm.
Serve warm with cream, vanilla ice cream, fromage frais or fresh vanilla custard.
