Pumpkin squares for a crowd

Ingredients

1 cup Flour
½ cup Quick oats
½ cup Brown sugar
½ cup Butter or margarine
2 cups Pumpkin
2 cups Milk
3 eaches Eggs, beaten
¾ cup Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Ginger
¼ teaspoon Ground cloves
½ teaspoon Salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F. Butter and flour a 9x13 inch pan. Combine the crust ingredients and pat into pan. Bake for 12 minutes. Stir filling ingredients together and pour over baked crust. Continue to bake for about 30 minutes or pumpkin is set. Cool. Can be served with a dollop of whipped cream as garnish. Origin: Homestyle, Canadian Classics. Ladies of the Royal Purple.
