Roast loin of pork with garlic

2 | tablespoons | Olive or vegetable oil |
1 | Clove garlic, finely chopped* | |
1 | tablespoon | Water |
1 | slice | Bacon, crisp-cooked and crumbled |
3½ | pounds | Boneless pork loin roast |

Scoring this roast serves 2 purposes - it allows the seasonings to seep in and...it's a decorative touch.
Preheat oven to 350F.
In small bowl, combine all ingredients except pork; set aside.
In 13 x 9-inch baking or roasting pan, arrange pork. With knife, score (lightly cut) top of pork. Spoon soup mixture evenly over pork. Bake uncovered 1 hour or until meat thermometer reaches 160F. Makes about 8 servings.

*If using Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix, omit garlic.
