Rosy peach sherbet

Ingredients

2 | larges | Fresh peaches |
2 | teaspoons | Lemon juice |
⅔ | cup | Sugar |
2 | To 3 cups milk |
Directions
Scrub peaches, cut and remove pits. You may peel them if desired, but then it won't be "rosy." Place in jar of blender. Add lemon juice, sugar, and 1 cup milk. Blend till smooth. Add milk till mixture measures 4 cups. Blend to mix that in. Churn freeze. Makes 1 quart.
To substitute mango, use 1 large, peeled, pitted mango, or 2 small ones. From: Helen Fleischer
