Salmon steaks alaska with cucumber sauce

¼ | teaspoon | TABASCO brand Pepper Sauce |
4 | Salmon steaks; fresh or frozen, 1-inch thick | |
*CUCMBER SAUCE* | ||
1 | cup | Lowfat or nonfat yogurt |
¼ | teaspoon | TABASCO brand Pepper Sauce |
1 | cup | Chopped cucumber |
1 | tablespoon | Snipped fresh dill OR 1 teaspoon dried dill weed |
Directions
Combine lime juice and TABASCO® sauce. To bake, place salmon steaks in shallow baking dish. Brush lime juice over steaks. Bake in 350øF. oven 25 to 30 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork. To broil, place salmon steaks on greased broiler rack. Brush lime juice over steaks. Place in pre-heated broiler 4 inches from heat. Broil 15 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork. If desired, garnish with lime or lemon slices.
Serve with Cucumber Sauce. Blend together yogurt and TABASCO® Sauce. Stir in cucumber and dill. Makes approximately 2 cups.
Makes 4 servings. Note: If steaks are frozen, thaw in refrigerator, or cook unthawed according to package directions.
