Salsa ranchera

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 tablespoons oil
2 eaches tomatoes, peeled and seeded
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1 each pinch of sugar
12 ounces can of jalapenos
1 tablespoon vinegar

Directions

Rinse and chop the jalapenos. Heat oil in skillet. Add tomatoes and cook down to thick puree. Season and remove from heat. Add chiles and vinegar, mix well. Makes 1½ cups.
